Unplug, enjoy, rest, and recharge — these four words are the best way to describe our recent getaway to The Pfister Hotel, Milwaukee’s most luxurious hotel! Sometimes a stay in the city is all you need to get away from work, routines, and well, adulting. My husband and I were really looking forward to spending some quality time together. Our experience was everything we needed to get ready for summer and all the busyness it brings!

Checking In |

Walking into The Pfister you can’t help but be in awe of the character of the building. The style and decor is so impressive! Not to mention being surrounded by the rich history of the hotel is truly inspiring! I was so impressed with the friendliness of the staff. From the moment we walked in, the staff did everything to ensure our stay would be superb. Our guest room was located and the 19th floor and featured a beautiful view of the city and a big comfy king-sized bed. After we finished checking out the room, we headed out to our first reservation for the night.

WELL SPA |

We started out our stay with a couples massage at WELL Spa + Salon featured inside of The Pfister on the main floor. The atmosphere was so calm and peaceful. We sipped on some mimosas as we waited for our appointment to start.

The ladies we worked with made us feel so comfortable and well taken care of. We really loved having options to customize our experience based on our needs. I enjoyed a relaxation massage with eucalyptus oils and my husband enjoyed a deep tissue massage with citrus oils. This was our first time getting a couples massage and it’s safe to say it won’t be the last! We are so excited to book our next experience at WELL Spa & Salon!

Blu |

After the most relaxing experience at WELL, we headed back to the room to get ready for our next stop of the night: a reservation for two at Blu! Blu is a city favorite when it comes to martini lounges. Located on the 23rd floor of The Pfister, the panoramic views of the city are unmatched, especially at night with all the twinkling city lights!

Our first round of drinks featured a watermelon jalapeño margarita and a mango mojito, yum! We got even fancier with our second round of drinks featuring a delicious pomegranate martini and a classic Moscow mule. We spent our time enjoying the views of the city and each other’s company. We also met a friendly couple visiting from Texas and invited them over to chat for a bit. We always enjoy meeting new people wherever we go!

Breakfast in Bed |

Waking up to a bright sunny morning sure put a smile on my face. It’s been a long spring with lots of grey days so I was happy to open the shades and get the day started. We had a full day ahead of us, so we got up extra early for breakfast in bed.

One of the best features of the Pfister Hotel is that it is pet friendly. Roscoe loves to take new adventures with mom and dad, we pretty much take him everywhere we go! He also loves to be mama’s puppy model, and boy is he a handsome one!

Room service arrived, the food was hot and fresh and we were definitely hungry. Breakfast with a view is definitely something I could get used to! We enjoyed a classic-style breakfast with sunny-side-up eggs and waffles, yummmm. The food was so delicous and all the fuel we need to take on the day.

Afternoon Swim |

After a delicious breakfast in bed, we cleaned up and finished getting ready for the day. Our first stop was the pool! We headed straight to the 23rd floor for some poolside relaxation & fun! All I can say is WOW! What a perfect location for a pool. The pool features even more stunning panoramic views of Milwaukee and all the sky-high tropical feels!

Club Lounge |

Before we checked out for the day, our last stop was The Pfister Club Lounge. We stopped in for some coffee and a midday snack after our morning swim. The Club Lounge is also on the 23rd floor along with Blu and the pool. From 6 am – 9 am they feature a fabulous breakfast spread, or you can head there for some afternoon refreshments and more excellent views of Milwaukee.

Until Next Time |

It was finally time for us to check out and return home. We had an amazing stay at The Pfister and truly enjoyed all the wonderful amenities the hotel features. Whether you’re looking for a day at the spa or a night on the town, The Pfister should be at the top of your list as the best city getaway!
